3 reviews for MACHOS Mount for Aurora NV Camera

  1. Drew Sizemore

This mount is nice and sturdy and holds my Aurora very well. I’m looking forward to getting a second camera for it. It’s super adjustable so I can get the camera exactly where I need it.

  2. Brent

Clean machining tolerances. Fit perfectly in my WilcoX G24 with no wiggle.

  3. R. Edwards

The MACHOS is an excellent system for mounting SiOnyx Aurora’s. Feels very solid and the adjustment process is pretty straightforward; I was able to easily adjust the horizontal position of each Aurora Black with a hex wrench to suit my eye width. It also locked firmly into the Wilcox G24 on my ballistic helmet.Take my advice: it’s worth the extra money to get this mount, which allows you to roll the Aurora’s closer to the helmet when they are in the up position. Getting in and out of my vehicle and moving through tighter urban spaces wouldn’t have been as easy if the Aurora’s had been sitting further up and out.So far, I love this mount.I should note that rotating the Aurora’s on the outer hinges is difficult at first, but you get used to it. This is a good thing; you want them staying rigid in the position you leave them in so as not to damage your digital night vision from jarring/swinging.
