  1. Mechanically Minded (verified owner)

Pf9ss: A perfect platform for an EDC. This might very well become my everyday/everyway favorite. Potential is through the roof! As an FN baby lover, this thing pulls the same heart strings. Just as before… it was in my hand in under a week. The “notify me” email works flawlessly, followed by a painless transaction. I am thankful and appreciative to Rockey Brass and P80. You dudes are ROCKSTARS! Fully satisfied, times three! I will never hesitate to do easy business with the great people at the one and only RockeyBrass.com!

  2. Jeff (verified owner)

Great platform to construct your own personal firearm built my personal EDC

  3. David

This was an easy build like the rest of the P80 kits are. It was different to put together, but not too much of a challenge. As always, Rockey Brass was easy to order from, fast shipping and great customer service if you need anything.

  4. Robert B Hixson

I absolutely love this version of the G43 frame. My complaint is the plastic jig allowed the trigger pin hole elongate (one side, left??? I was drilling with a hand held in-line electric drill, in a vertical down position. This shouldn’t have happened.

  5. Very Satisfied Customer

Shipped within hours. Great price. Will be back. Having trouble inserting the larger locking block pin from either side. First time builder. As meticulous as I am, following Polymer80’s instructions, it’s possible my drilling is at fault. Have read of one locking block at fault, replaced by Polymer 80.

  6. John

Not my first P80 build, but my first SS build. It was super easy and I love it. I did however have to do ALOT of work to the rear rail to make it fit properly.

  7. Davy Dickinson

Let me start with shipping it unbelievably fast product is exactly as described for the best service and product I strongly recommend RB

  8. Darryl Ferguson

Great build my first Sub Compact.. the trigger housing was a little tricky and as always the rear slide hole had to be modified for proper fit and alignment other then that it was relatively an easy build.. make sure you get a OEM guide rod because the aftermarket rods don’t work ..

  9. Drew Higgins

Simple instructions and functions as good as a factory glock. Installed Rockey Brass LPK slide kit and barrel with a zaffiri RMR slide looks and functions amazing!

  10. Banks

Great product fast delivery. Will order again Soon . Great Job

  11. Shirley Long

  12. Everette Greene

  13. Harry E

Good price and fast shipping-just what I wanted!

  14. Tim St.John

I like the new design, easy to work on, fit well. no issues at all.

  15. Jared Minor

I’ve heard it doesn’t compare up to the ss80 so I must see for myself so I bought the whole kitten kabbudle love the size just hope it works and has no flaws compared to ss80 as I’ve seen in a lot of reviews. But as in everything if your craftsmanship is well and you take every extra step without rushing as im sure some do everything should come out operational and smoothly. It’s all about the amount of effort just like life. If you race thru life not taking every safe and correct measure sometimes shit just passes you buy and you don’t no where or what you did… ” There are 3 things that cannot long stay hidden “The sun, The moon, & the truth!! 871 thanks RB. Another satisfied customer.

First of all, props to Rocky Brass for getting my order to my door so fast. I was happy they had the color and the parts I wanted in stock. They even threw in a few stickers, who doesn’t enjoy a cool sticker? Y’all definitely earned yourselves a loyal customer. I ordered the FDE color with the Rocky Brass LPK. This is my first P80 build and I chose this model because I already own a Glock 43X. I figured I would start here so I could immediately test my 43X slide on the rails. Initially I was super hesitant about this build because of some of the horror stories I read on forums, I did my homework and decided to go for it. Overall it went together great! I was pleasantly surprised that the rear rail and locking block slid in with ease. I did have to take a bit of material out of the rear rail set to get holes to line up, but it’s real easy if you’re good with tools. My G43X slide mated with the P80 lower perfectly and went into full battery the first time! I bought a 6 rd. Pro Mag to start out. Took it to the range and put 50 rounds through it with no feed issues and no jams. I was ecstatic! The only other problem I ran into was a minor one in my book. The magazine fits a bit snug and doesn’t drop out freely, easy fix. It did so well at the range, I went ahead and bought a Glock brand mag (still snug). I planned on buying the Rocky Brass complete slide for it, but seeing how well my G43X slide ran on it I’m gonna try to find another (y’all still have my business don’t worry). The FDE lower looks great with the black hardware and slide. I really enjoyed this build and I have a feeling it won’t be my last. If you’re in the market for a P80 kit, go with Rocky Brass.

  17. TRAIAN C SOARE

Superior polymer frame. I got the FDE color and it’s very good looking matched with a black slide, trigger, pins, mag release and a +3 extended magazine. Two tone looks great ??. Of course the slide needs the usual miling and parts fitting. It takes patience knowledge skills and money. The Rockey brass prices are the most affordable on the market. We still long for the OEM Glock parts ??. Anyway in conclusion for any hobbyists and gun enthusiasts I recommend gladly polymer80 frames and Rockey brass products ??????

  18. Michael McLaughlin

Finished it with no problems at all and the price was great.

  19. Ben Forbing

This poly80 frame for my next build came quick. Thank you Rocky brass!

  20. Heather

I purchased the P80 Glock 43 PF9SS frame for my second build. I’m happy to say my order arrived very quickly and was packaged nicely. I am new to the hobby so I don’t have much to compare to however I can say the frame looks nice, came as described, appears to be of good quality and durable material.

  21. Brian Fussell

This item was sold out with other vendors I have been trading with. One day during a search, Rockey Brass popped up showing one on hand. I put in the order and it showed up in a few days at a really great price. Rockey Brass is Awesome!

  22. GC

I’m a complete newbie when it comes to the lower 80 receivers. It didn’t seem to complex so I tried it. I followed directions to a T and the rear trigger housing unit just would not line up with the holes I drilled. Knowing no better, I made modifications to the hole that I drilled. That didn’t work either. Completely frustrated, I just gave up. Told a friend of mine, and he found out that one of the most common problems is that the trigger housing unit provided is not to spec and won’t align properly so you have to make adjustments to the parts not the receiver. With the new found knowledge, I bought a 2nd one because the 1st one was beyond being used. I made adjustments to the parts and it works fine. But damn, have a huge disclaimer sticker for the newbies so they don’t modify the receiver and have to spend money on another one.

  23. Cruz Rodriguez

Not much to say about the frame but the shipping! It was next day shipping which was great.

  24. Josh

Great quality and fast shipping. Very pleased and rockey brass kept me very up to date with my order

  25. Luisito Maxino

    Very Nice compact gun frame.

  26. Tone

Polymer 80 Glock 43This is my second Polymer build. I really like this gun. But the parts for the 43 are a lot more expensive than 19 on my first build. but I am very happy with my purchase thanks

  27. Matty

Out of the other variants offered this was by far the easiest to finish and the least amount of adjustments needed to get plumb and level. In stock surprisingly and lightning fast shipment. Thanks rockeybrass!!

  28. John Simeone

Single stack may be my new favorite. Perfect EDC

  29. Ronald Guay

Of all the P80’s, this is still the fastest and easiest to complete! The quality is second to none over the GS. Rockey Brass has excellent shipping and competitive pricing even during this crazed buying time

  30. Keith Oster

Received my PF9SS & I am glad I waited for P80 to release this. Have not built yet but have done other P80 builds and I am sure the quality will be just as good as the others. Rockey Brass is always a breeze to deal with. Not only are the prices lower, but the ship times are great. Took 4 days from time of order until it was at my front door. I will def purchase from you guys again!!

  31. Domingo Gonzales

Excellent service. Fast turnaround so I ordered another P80 frame a week later

  32. David S.

I bought this frame and couldn’t be happier! It came super fast and was exactly as it was described. Not my first purchase from these guys and won’t be my last. All of their frames and build kits are of top quality. I recommend them to everybody!

  33. Dave

overall I can’t say anything bad about it I’m looking forward to building it out really love the feel of this particular frame. As for service Rockey brass as always kicks ass

  34. JS

perfect gift for all shooting sports enthusiasts. The p80 singlestack frame is better than expected. Nice quality and had the slide release/lock lever included. Rockey Brass is a top notch company- quick shipping, fair prices and everything works great.

  35. Buck

This was my 3rd Poly80 and I couldn’t be happier with it . These are about the simplest 80% firearms you can build .. Thanks to Rocky Brass for having many of the parts I needed for the build at great prices and shipped fast , and customer service is awesome .. Thank you

  36. Ken

🙂 I’ve been looking for this one for a while now, I got all the parts except the lower parts kit (hard to get right now). I finished the frame but without the LPK I can’t try it out yet. Slide to frame fit is perfect though. It’s a cinch to build and I highly recommend it. Great pocket pistol.

  37. Adam

I’ll tell you why this kit is so great. It is first of all small yet easy to assemble correctly. It fits in the hands of a delicate woman and when someone like a woman holds this gun they immediately feel empowered not because it’s a gun but because it fits to the shape of their hand, they are small hands and small features it’s perfect for anyone who is small or is a woman I highly recommend this build kit. Now as a man myself I can tell you from buying this kid that this company was very professional and how they packed the order it was very discreet and the directions they provided were very straightforward. This is very important to have a straightforward and easy to modify and build when you’re working with fire arms and especially the polymer 80 build kits. Now I have built over 10 polymer 80 builds all different models and bought them from all different sites and stores and also gun shows and you quickly learn to realize that if you can get your hands on this type of product you’re in luck because they’re always sold out because of its quality and ease-of-use. Follow the directions to the T and you’ll be fine only recommendation I have when building polymer 80s is to have a more strong magazine catch, the thing that holds the magazine in place when it’s in the gun, because if you have a week or cheap one when you fire your first shot in the magazine will fall out. This gun is my every day carry and I prefer it over every gun I have. Bottom line is if you want a high-performance concealable pistol with stopping power and superior functionality that you could build yourself if you have even the slightest bit of handiness then this is the exact gun and pistol that you want to buy you don’t want anything else I gave them 11 out of 11 stars and would rank them higher if I could because their customer service is great they packed the goods properly it came on time and they provided superior directions and documentation of how to use it compared to other vendors look no further this is the company you want to shop with And I’m happy I did

  38. Alex Harding

1st time ordering from here, But prompted shipping. P80 makes a quality frame from past builds. I’m weighing my options on this build, maybe a 48 slide

  39. Arnest Stone

RB never let’s me down! Price, shipping and quality great!

  40. Inxs2xtreme

Worked perfectly with no mods to rails. It was my 5th p80 build and first to have slide just slide right on and work perfect. 500 rounds later still smoking. Also first using complete OEM slide. Thinking that might help too I’ve heard the after market have too tight of tolerances and that’s why they need a lot of milling to the rails

  41. Brian Hinds

This frame was sweet parts fit well and function was smooth first time out. Like it better than the SS80

  42. Brad

Got my PF9SS a week ago and am very happy so far. Was easy to build has a great design. Thanks

  43. David Arslan

Very well done p80, shape fits the have in a way that even with big hands I don’t think I’d bother with a magext other than wanted extra rounds. There other parts you need to finish it, you won’t regret getting those too here (I did a full 17 kit from here it’s awesome awesome smooth functional, screw the break-in, it ran great! If your thinking about getting your first or next p80, I can tell you from experience rockeybrass means business not games, I grew up in a business owning family (small local business not rich and privileged but we look out for our community!) and judging from how they’ve treated me, they will take care of you too. To me, that’s just how they operate, legit. Not enough can be said for good support and a business that makes a customer feel it’s run well. The rest of their “in house” brand parts, slides, barrels whatever, they got the tolerances right so it’s operates nicely moves nicely, not just is functional. They have a nice feel and in my experience run smooth and at the price point the quality and value are great.

  44. Ronan

I have not gotten the chance to build this 80% out yet however from what I have seen from Polymer 80 in the past this one definitely lives up to the standard. It is solid, comfortable, and contains all the parts with easy instructions on their website. I am glad I preordered it as several places have already sold out of them at this time. Regardless, if you are looking for a single stack 80%. This is the only way to go hands down.
